About Us
Solar Sentinel is a group made of students of the scientific high school of Alajuela in Costa Rica. Our team combines different skills in programming and astrophysics to analyze and display an accurate depictions of the potential threat that solar storms pose to humanity so that we can be prepared at any given moment.

DSCOVR Satellite
The DSCOVR (Deep Space Climate Observatory) satellite, launched in 2015, is a joint mission by NASA, NOAA, and the U.S. Air Force. It is primarily designed to monitor and provide real-time data on solar wind, solar storms, and space weather, helping scientists better understand and predict solar phenomena that can impact Earth's technology and infrastructure.
